Dried, and sometimes smoked, the paprika is considered sweet if dried and ground without the seeds and placental matter – and “hot” if seeds and all are included in the powder. Can lend great color to a dish without too much heat.This plant will produce early in the Midwest and continue throughout the summer and fall.
