Because very high G-forces act on the body during fast spirals, this flight state often cannot be maintained for long. Dizziness, nausea, and even a blackout can result. The G-force Brake effectively reduces these G-forces.FeaturesThe G-Force Brake reduces G-forces on the body during spirals by up to 40%. This is achieved by reducing the number of rotations at the same sink rate. Due to the additional drag of the G-Force Brake, the pilot is positioned slightly further back relative to the paraglider than without it. This allows the paraglider canopy to align itself at a steeper angle to the ground and lose altitude more effectively.The G-Force Brake is particularly well-suited for high-performance paragliders with highly efficient aerodynamics, which therefore generate high G-forces in spiral dives. The G-Force Brake is also suitable for tandem paragliding to reduce spiral dive forces.
